What will the apprentice be doing?

To provide administration assistance to the Fleet Crewing department, including filing and data recording.

  • Supporting the Crewing Support Officer in the creation of the roster and manning of the vessels.
  • Assist in arranging meetings, seminars and corporate events, including equipment and provisions as required.
  • To become fluent and knowledgeable on various Microsoft applications and other internal software systems as required.
  • Assist in producing presentations and material for meetings.
  • Assist in the administration of travel requirements for the management team, and other staff as required.
  • Take and produce accurate minutes and action points as required.
  • Travel onboard vessels and visits to other ports for various requirements.
  • Participate in various projects with the Department and Business Unit as required, including research and procurement.
