What will the apprentice be doing?

We have a great team in all areas of the Southside Warehousing operations, we have many different types of individuals across the operations that all pull together to achieve the tasks at hand, the candidate ideally should be outgoing and have a good attention to detail with a flare to succeed and take on any challenge that arises.

The role on a day-to-day basis will include:

  • Carrying out gate controls as required, 
  • Process cargo movement inwards and outwards in the Terminal/Warehouse systems,
  • Liaise with the Customer Services Department and external agencies as required,
  • Use of the Warehouse and Terminal computer systems and Update / input warehouse stock levels as required. 

The candidate will need to have good organisational skills and possess good I.T skills on the computer, we will provide the skill set needed with on hand experience with help from all Gatehouse Operatives to Port Operatives which will help explain and advise to give an overall understanding of
