What will the apprentice be doing?

  • Perform a high-quality reception and administration service to ensure patient satisfaction and maximum contribution to practice efficiency, effectiveness, and profitability in line with the GDC guidelines and practice policies
  • Establish and maintain productive working relations with all members of the dental team
  • Liaise with the practice manager on all matters concerning administration, pay, and service conditions
  • Take reasonable care for your own health and safety and that of others who may be affected by your acts or omissions at work

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

The selected candidate will be working towards a level 2 Customer Service practitioner qualification with The Learning Foundry. Training will be delivered on the job and with monthly visits from an assessor. The occasional training session may take place at our Liverpool city centre campus when needed.

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

The right candidate may be kept on after their apprenticeship with aims to stay in the practice.
