What will the apprentice be doing?

Help maintain a healthy & safe workplace Carry out stock procedures Vehicle safety inspections & routine maintenance Replacement of components/repair of vehicles. Carry out 4-wheel Geometry operations e.g. adjustments. Use specialist equipment, mechanical & electrical measuring tools. Identify & procure correct parts meeting customer requirements. Effective communication customers, suppliers & colleagues Use specific company IT systems

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

Following successful completion of the apprenticeship, you will then have the opportunity for further training as an MOT tester and other opportunities as they arise. These will be dependent on the willingness of the applicant to get involved with further training and the availability of appropriate training at the time. Two members of our team have recently achieved IMI Level 3 Award in Electric & Hybrid Vehicles.

Things to consider

Working in a workshop is physical work. You must be willing to work diligently and have a serious attitude to safety for yourself, your team members and visiting clients while you are working. There is are no public transport links to Gainsford End so you would need your own transport arrangements.
