What will the apprentice be doing?

You will learn all aspects of the nursery throughout the duration of your apprenticeship, this could include the following: 

  • Playing and interacting with children 
  • Contributing ideas for activities 
  • Overseeing a small group of children under the watch of a supervisor
  • Updating learning journals for parents, including photographs of activities
  • Preparation of snacks 
  • Assisting with clean up after meal times and any other cleaning as and where required
  • Changing of nappies in baby rooms
  • Any other duties as per the request of your supervisor

About the employer

Little Laura's is looking for someone with a passion in childcare to work in a small team. We are open Monday - Friday, 8am - 5:30pm, 50 weeks of the year. We have our ages mixed together from 1 year - school age. We are an outdoors nursery where children love to get messy whatever the weather!
