What will the apprentice be doing?

During your first year you will learn fundamental engineering skills such as:

  • Turning, Milling, CNC Programming, Fitting & knowledge of other Manufacturing processes
  • Soldering & knowledge of other joining processes
  • Basic Sheet Metal Fabrication
  • Interpreting & Creation of Engineering Drawings using 3D CAD packages
  • Basic Electrical & Electronic practical skills
  • Measurement & Inspection techniques using a range of metrology equipment

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

Engineering Technician Level 3, any additional training to be discussed upon interview.
