What will the apprentice be doing?

Dealing with customer sales at the trade counter and by telephone and email.  They will support the day to day activities relating to incoming deliveries, stock control and despatch.the sucssessful candidate will process customer orders and take delivery of goods and basic administration relating to these functions.A key element of the role will be technical knowledge of the products and services offered together with bespoke systems and equipment used in the business.  They will communicate with a wide variety of internal and external customers to build relationships and provide a high quality service that encourages repeat business.

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

Level 2 Trades Counter Appreticeship
Maths & English level 2 if not already achieved.
Appts with apprentice, employer & provider, observations of workplace as well as gathering evidence.
Undertake self-assessment in last month of apprenticeship. The self-assessment must be submitted to the end point assessor as a source of evidence to prepare for End Point Assessment which will include a showcase portfolio; a project, employer reference & interview about the portfolio and project.
