What will the apprentice be doing?
- Good knowledge and understanding of child protection and safeguarding.
- Following EYFS guidelines an understanding of the EYFS and Ofsted framework advantageous.
- Promote learning through play, demonstrating knowledge of inspirational practitioners and theories around this.
- To be responsible for the care, welfare, health, safety and security of children, supervising activities and routines, giving specific help to individual children to ensure that they remain focussed.
- To plan, organise and carryout planned activities and experiences for children.
- To communicate with parents and other visitors in a calm, friendly and efficient manner.
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
The apprentice will be working towards the Level 3 Early Years Educator apprenticeship and full Training and CPD will be provided.
Apprentices must successfully complete a first aid qualification in line with the requirements of the EYFS Framework
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
Full time employment on completion of the Apprenticeship for the right candidate.
