What will the apprentice be doing?
Typical duties include:
· Recording financial transactions using a variety of software including Xero, Quickbooks and Dext
· Collating and processing tax information to provide a draft tax return for review and approval
· Producing draft sets of accounts ready to be reviewed and approved
· Processing correspondence for clients, HMRC and other third parties.
· Further duties and responsibilities of similar level as required
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
- AAT Level 3
- Training will take place at Cornwall College, Camborne, on day release a week
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
- Completion of AAT level 3 would lead onto AAT level 4 (Accounting Technician)
