What will the apprentice be doing?

A fabulous opportunity to join the KRL team based in Aldershot has arisen. As a Warehousing Apprentice, you will be responsible for:

Unloading vehicles efficiently and safely, supporting the effective running of the Warehouse operation including inbound and outbound across the site

Picking and packing orders accurately, efficiently and safely, ensuring material is ready to dispatch to customers on time
Safe use of the pump truck to move goods around the warehouse efficiently and safely, ensuring no damage to property or person
Booking items received into internal computer systems
Keeping the working environment clean and tidy
Supporting to manage stock levels and carrying out stock takes when needed
Supporting the effective running of the Warehouse operation including inbound and outbound across the site
Safely handle products through all inbound and outbound processes, ensuring all company procedures are adhered to
Ensure all goods are handled in the correct manner to ensure that damage to kept to a minimum and manual handling techniques are followed to prevent injury and harm
Carry out any other reasonable requests to support the effective running of the warehouse
Expectations to work across other site activity centres when required
Ensure all health and safety procedures are adhered to, including PPE, escalating any concerns to your line manager at the earliest opportunity
Ensure all equipment checks are carried out in accordance with procedure, raising any defects to your line manager
Successfully network between members of the team
Proactively support colleagues as dictated by changing work load demands
Support the business with any additional tasks as required

Functional Skills Level 2 in maths and English if required
