You will be responsible for facilitating office organisation and communication by performing administrative duties, reporting directly to the branch manager.

What will the apprentice be doing?

As an Apprentice Business Administrator, you will be responsible for the following:-

Liaising with and generating potential leads
Support Line Manager to attract and retain business for clients
Support in writing job adverts and posting them online (job-boards, social media etc.)
Using CV / candidate databases to find suitable candidates 
Calling candidates to screen them for suitability to roles (current or upcoming)
Maintaining regular contact with candidates to check their availability for work, their requirements, and to answer any initial questions they may have about a role
Preparing, organising and storing information in paper and digital form
Dealing with queries on the phone and by email
Greeting visitors at reception
Managing diaries, scheduling meetings and booking rooms
Arranging travel and accommodation
Arranging post and deliveries
Taking minutes at meetings
Typing up letters and reports
Updating computer records using a database
Printing and photocopying
Ordering office supplies
Maintaining office systems
Liaising with suppliers and contractors
Liaising with staff in other departments, e.g. finance, HR
Any other duties deemed appropriate by management, including some limited travel
