What will the apprentice be doing?

Assisting the Cloud Team with:

  • Weekly processing of supplier bills on data capture software such as Dext, AutoEntry, Hubdoc and Pleo and checking expense account allocation, VAT status, description and amount
  • Publish transactions from data capture software to Xero software
  • Reconciling bank transactions on xero (in GBP and other currencies such as Euro/USD
  • Post payroll journals
  • Supplier statements reconciliations to xero aged payable reports
  • Review aged payables reports (outstanding supplier bills) for any queries to raise with client
  • Review aged receivables reports (outstanding customer sales invoices) for any queries to raise with client
  • Record time spent on jobs and provide explanations of any variances to budget

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

AAT level 3

You’ll learn complex accounting techniques, and master a number of accounting disciplines including financial processes, advanced bookkeeping, final accounts and ethical practices for accountants. This level will encourage you to master more complex accounting principles in both Bookkeeping and Management Accounting.
