What will the apprentice be doing?

  • Ensure that all work is technically compliant, working closely with the Quality team 
  • Work to be completed to a high quality standard and meet regulatory quality standards (AS9100).  
  • Provide suppport to the team in the timely completion of Process
  • Failure Mode effects analysis 
  • Basic knowledge of reading drawings 
  • Assist with quality-related issues within the manufacturing team 
  • Participate in cross-functional teams in the development of new products or changes related to current products in meeting customer requirements 
  • Build and maintain customer and supplier relations 
  • Contribute to continuous improvement activities 
  • Using Teams monitor and complete 5s audits as required, raise
  • issues and complete any actions raised, also participate and
  • contribute to employee ideas.
  • Actively engage and participate in new or ongoing company projects as required
  • Run AeroDNA reports and action accordingly 
  • Help to ensure control plans, product records and associated documentation are implemented effectively and maintained through Advance Product Quality Planning system.  
  • Assist with preperation and completion of FAIRS 
  • Ensure that all work is technically compliant, working closely with the Quality team 
  • Maintain work equipment and report repairs as required. 
  • Proactively contribute to creating a good team atmosphere
  • Help to Improve business programs, technologies, and procedures
  • Oversee day-to-day business activities

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

  • Level 3 Business Administrator apprenticeship standard, which includes:

    End-Point Assessment (EPA) 
    20% off the job training 
    Functional Skills in maths and English (if required)

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
