What will the apprentice be doing?

Customer service & client relationships
- engaging with clients
- asking questions & offering drinks
- taking bookings for the salon Payments & re-bookings
Being proactive & engaging – promotion of salon & treatments on social media when requested to by your mentor.
Clean & tidy the salon
Prepare stylist areas – making sure you & your colleagues are ready for the first clients & the last clients of the day.
To work alongside the stylist assisting with colours & blow-dries. 

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

Level 2 Hair Professional apprenticeship standard, including Functional Skills if required. Attending day release at West Nottingahmshire College.
You will work with expert assessors to develop new knowledge, skills and behaviours within the profession. You will experience a blended learning model. You will gather learning evidence, journals and off-the-job records using your e-portfolio.

At the end of the planned learning period, it will be agreed that you are ready to enter 'Gateway' and for your End Point Assessment to be arranged.

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

Progression onto L3 Advanced and creative hair and a full time offer for the right candidate

Founded in 2012, the salon moved to a new and larger premises near Mansfield Woodhouse in 2017. The building was transformed to an extremely high standard making Victoria Rose one of the best salons in Mansfield. To this day. The salon is kept the salon up to the very highest standards and professionalism. Staff undergo regular training, within the salon and around the country. It’s important the salon keeps up to date with the latest trends which the salon offers.
