What will the apprentice be doing?

Understanding the:

  • Importance of complying with statutory, organisational & health & safety regulations.
  • Approved diagnostic methods & techniques used to solve engineering/manufacturing problems.
  • General engineering/manufacturing mathematical & scientific principles, methods, techniques, symbols formulae & calculations used by engineering technicians.
  • Structure, properties & characteristics of common materials used in the sector.

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

Apprentices will be required to attend college for 1 day per week at Harrow or Uxbridge Campus completing necessary mandatory training and units associated with the apprenticeship. Our Account Manager, industry-trained assessor and Learning Advocate will support apprentices to deliver our high-quality training programmes.

The apprentice will be required to:

  • Work towards gaining a full Level 3 Engineering Qualification
  • Employment Rights and Responsibilities
  • Skills, Knowledge and Behaviours
  • Standard and End Point Assessment
  • Functional Skills in English, Maths and ICT (if required)
