What will the apprentice be doing?
- Working on cloud accounting software packages to prepare VAT returns and accounts.
- Exposure to income tax and corporation tax.
- Microsoft products, Iris, Xero and Quickbooks cloud software utilised.
- The work completed by the successful apprentices is very important and provides accurate data to clients as well as ensuring that business entities comply with Companies House and HM Revenue & Customs regulations.
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
Level 2 Accounts / Finance Assistant apprenticeship standard, which includes:
Level 1/2 Functional Skills in maths, and English (if required)
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
Opportunities to study further accountancy qualifications along with progression with the practice. Promotion available for all staff.
