What will the apprentice be doing?
This role involves working as part of a team in a fast-paced environment, taking pride in customer service whilst maintaining high standards of food hygiene.
Duties to be carried out:
- Customer service
- Hospitality deliveries
- Coffee preparation
- Cash handling
- Basic food preparation
- General cleaning duties
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
Qualification achieved will be Hospitality Team Member Apprenticeship level 2. Attending York College on a day release basis, starting in September, although start date with Aramark can be earlier.
You will develop hospitality skills and knowledge such as recognising customer needs, and knowing how to match them to the products and services of the business, working as part of a team to ensure that every customer feels welcomed and looked after.
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
Potential offer of a permanent position – either at Askham Bryan College or another Aramark site. Opportunity to progress within the business when an opportunity arises.
