This person will be involved in a range of marketing activities to help the marketing team to increase brand awareness, manage our online presence, produce valuable and informative content, and support new lead generation.

    The salary for this role will be between £17,500 – £24,000 per annum depending upon the candidates’ previous experience and skill set.

  • Working week

    As a company we are largely remote, therefore you must be able to work and study from home, and manage time responsibly. Occasional travel to Durham or Newcastle. Typical working hours are Monday to Friday, between 9am and 5pm, with flexibility.

What will the apprentice be doing?

  • Assist the development of marketing plans.
  • Record analytics data from website and social media, conduct analysis and report insights.
  • Conduct market research.
  • Review newsletters, press stories, and social media conversations.
  • Support the Marketing Manager in developing new content and publishing posts on social media.
  • Assist with updating website and ensuring pages are optimised.
  • Support business development by assisting with email marketing campaigns and researching prospective customers.

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

The Marketing Assistant will undertake blended learning activities (online study materials, one-to-one online tutorials, webinars, peer interaction) and will also receive on-the-job training.

Must be able to work and study from home.

At the end of their programme, the Marketing Assistant will receive a Level 3 apprenticeship qualification and professional body recognition that meets the requirements for registration as an Affiliate Member with the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM).

Things to consider

Be passionate about marketing and ideally have some previous marketing experience (previous employed or volunteering roles, or hobby). Have an interest in the technology industry and/or healthcare sector. Be able to understand complex topics such as the use of artificial intelligence within healthcare. Be happy working as part of a remote team.
