What will the apprentice be doing?
Erecting, maintaining and repairing masonry structures using a variety of specialist tools and equipment to lay bricks and spread and remove excess mortar. You must be able to cope with the physical demands of the role. You will be supervised by an experienced, fully qualified Bricklayer, who will guide you in all aspects of your on-site training. You will be required to meet a high level of health and safety when conducting the tasks and to use Personal Protective Equipment at all times.

Construction Skills Health, Safety and Environment test – CSCS Test
Functional Skills Maths and English
Additional courses available: Safeguarding, First Aid, Employabilty Skills, Equality and Diversity.

On completion of your Level 2 apprenticeship with the company, an opportunity to apply for a full time post may be offered to the right candidate.
