TC Brickwork SW Ltd are looking to take on an Apprentice Bricklayer to work on construction projects in and around Plymouth. The apprentice will receive full training and support throughout their apprenticeship and be supervised at all times on the construction site.

What will the apprentice be doing?
As part of your apprenticeship, you will work closely with the employer to gain all the necessary skills and attributes to be able to complete all aspects of bricklaying.
Work duties will include, but not limited to, labouring, setting out work areas, understanding and interpreting information, preparing mortar by hand, using specific tools required for tasks, measuring materials and cutting, keeping all work areas clean and tidy, adhering to safe working practices and manual lifting.

Construction Skills Health, Safety and Environment test – CSCS Test
As part of the apprenticeship programme, attendance is required at our Skills Group training centre for one day per week. All other aspects of the qualification will be delivered on-site by the employer. You will have regular visits every six to eight weeks from your designated Skills Group assessor, who will monitor your progress during your apprenticeship training.
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
All Apprentices are able to apply for a permanent position, on completion of their Apprenticeship, if a vacancy becomes available.
