The apprentice will be responsible for assisting the Lettings Manager with day-to-day duties, dealing with new tenants and supporting Marketing. What will the apprentice be doing?

Duties will include (but not be limited to):

  • You will be preparing tenancy agreements alongside the letting’s manager
  • Supporting with incoming tenancy enquiries
  • Booking viewings with new tenants and ensuring existing tenants attend their viewings
  • Assisting the property manager in dealing with maintenance issues
  • Researching rental property currently on the market
  • Taking marketing pictures, preparing marketing particulars for advertising 
  • Liaising with contractors to arrange for safety certificates
  • You will also complete your qualification alongside this programme in which you will be fully supported with.

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

  • Level 2 Housing / Property Management Assistant Apprenticeship Standard
  • Duration Typically 12 – 18 months
  • Apprentices without level 1 English and maths will need to achieve this level prior to completion of the apprenticeship and will also be required to take the tests for level 2

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

  • You will be offered a full-time position on successful completion of the apprenticeship
