What will the apprentice be doing?

  • Offering general assistance to the House of Care team, service users and visitors, either in person or over the telephone.
  • Receiving and directing service users courteously and efficiently so that they can access the appropriate service without difficulty.
  • Undertaking various administrative duties which contribute to the smooth rubbing of House of Care including provision of secretarial and clerical support and other administrative staff.
  • Ensuring accuracy, and within the necessary timescales.

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

Over the course of 18 months, you will study topics such as understanding an organisation, regulations, policies & processes/procedures, aspects of project management, how to manage performance, planning, organisation & decision-making skills, quality and process improvement, business fundamentals and IT & external environmental factors (these subjects may differ).

Upon successful completion of the apprenticeship programme, you will achieve a Level 3 certification.
