What will the apprentice be doing?
We are recruiting for a Care Team Leader that will support the employer with their provision of adult care, whilst helping to oversee other staff members.
You will learn to develop the knowledge, skills and behaviours needed to care for and support the needs of adults, and how to lead a team in the process.
Daily tasks may include:
- Overseeing team members
- Assisting individuals with eating, mobility and personal care
- Offering companionship and conversation
- Supporting them with social activities.
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
Over the course of 18 months, you will study topics such as operational management, leading people, project management, finance, managing people, building relationships, self-awareness and decision making (these subjects may differ).
You will achieve a Level 3 Team Leader certification upon successful completion.
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
Upon successful completion of the apprenticeship programme, you can become an associate or member of the Institute of Leadership and Management or Chartered Management Institute.
