What will the apprentice be doing?

  • Set and operate enclosing machine following work orders and Client specific instructions.
  • Support the daily production volume in line with Client service level agreements and targets set.
  • Manage all aspects of the machine enclosing process, ensuring stock is replenished in time and workload is planned effectively to maximise output.
  • Adhere to company processes and checks in place – quality, enclosing & dispatch.
  • Report any issues whether print quality, machine or stock to Management

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

  • Industry specific technical training will take place on every module offering the apprentice a unique opportunity to learn from industry professionals.
  • Apprenticeship Standard for Print Technician/Print Operative
  • Functional Skills in Maths and English (Where required)
  • One day per month study offsite workplace with Learn2print

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

  • Full time position within the company is available to the right candidate on completion of the Apprenticeship programme.
