What will the apprentice be doing?

We will teach you:

About all areas of Manufacturing so you have a true understanding of what’s required in each area and how this feeds into your role.
Using tools to upholster frames.
To prepare frames for upholstery including adding different foams and fibres.
Using a wide range of spring systems.
Filling cushions using fibre, foam and feathers.
Working with a large range of materials including fabrics and leathers.
Pattern matching fabrics. Using a range of trimmings and finishings.

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

You will be training within your workplace alongside experienced manufacturers and you will be gaining a furniture manufacturer level 2 qualification. The skills and qualities you will gain will help you as you develop your knowledge skills and experience within our teams.
