What will the apprentice be doing?

You will support the Nursery Managers of a rural private nursery in providing a stimulating and varied programme of play. joining a nursery established over 24 years ago, in a caring ‘home from home’ environment

Preparing, setting up and tidying away activities
Help provide and take part in all nursery activities
Ensuring safety and well-being of children, maintaining confidentiality
Playing, motivating and encouraging children from 6 mths to school age
Attending to the children's personal needs

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

Early Years Educator level 3. 

First-hand experience, knowledge of working in an early year setting, putting the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) into practice, policies and procedures.

Day release attendance on a Friday at Cambridge campus during term-time.

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

This apprenticeship (at level 3) could lead to a permanent practitioner role.
