What will the apprentice be doing?

Determining job requirements from drawings and specifications  
Installation and service of refrigeration and air conditioning pipework, equipment and systems  
Working with flexible chords, plugs and wired electrical equipment associated with refrigeration and air conditioning systems  
Locate and correct faults in electrical equipment associated with refrigeration and air conditioning systems  
Test refrigeration and air conditioning equipment and systems

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

A Level 3 qualification in Refrigeration air conditioning and heat pump engineering technician

Training will take place in college once or twice a week

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

To become an air conditioning engineer and potentially undertake further training to further education and progress with the company.
