We have a fantastic opportunity for an individual to join an experienced and friendly team looking after children from 6 months to 5 years within our good nursery setting.

Apprenticeship wage according to age
Apprentices are paid for their normal working hours and training that's part of their apprenticeship (usually one day per week).
3 days a week. Shift patterns are 7.30am – 5.30pm and 8.15am-6.15pm (working 9 hours and 1 hour unpaid break per day). Paid for 27 hours if over 18.

What will the apprentice be doing?
To contribute to the creation of a safe, welcoming and inclusive environment for all children and learn how to do this.
To be vigilant and protect children from harm or abuse, reporting any concerns immediately – in accordance with safeguarding on and whistleblowing policies.
To demonstrate and then ensure that they are responsible for the needs all children in their designated room, following systems to ensure consistent, high-quality care.
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
· In house training by Early Years Tutors. (blended weekly remote delivery)
· Functional skills if necessary.
· On-the-job training.
· Off-the-job training.
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
To secure a permanent position within the setting.
