What will the apprentice be doing?

To contribute to the creation of a safe, welcoming and inclusive environment for all children and learn how to do this.
 To be vigilant and protect children from harm or abuse, reporting any concerns immediately – in accordance with safeguarding on and whistleblowing policies.
To demonstrate and then ensure that they are responsible for the needs all children in their designated room, following systems to ensure consistent, high-quality care.

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

·  In house training by Early Years Tutors. (blended weekly remote delivery)

·  Functional skills if necessary.

·  On-the-job training.

·  Off-the-job training.

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

To secure a permanent position within the setting.

Things to consider

This is an application to study an apprenticeship with the SMB Group. Before being considered for a formal interview with the employer, you will be required to apply and be accessed and have an initial interview by the college. Blended remote weekly sessions delivered by TEAMS. No college campus attendance required.
