What will the apprentice be doing?

Learning all aspects of the business from the initial order coming through, using the machinery/equipment on site, learn the processes required for silver plating, all aspects of cabinet making then dispatching the items to customers all over the world.
The role will include;

  • quality inspection
  • Polishing
  • Producing finished products
  • Receiving and checking incoming materials
  • All aspects of cabinet making
  • Order dispatch
  • You will need to work safely in a manufacturing environment

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

An apprenticeship allows you to earn a wage and gain valuable work experience. You will be expected to work towards the Lean Manufacturing Apprenticeship Standard, with support from your employer and the Chesterfield College Group.
As part of your apprenticeship, you may be required to complete maths and English Functional Skills which is an integral part of your apprenticeship. Upon successful completion you will be awarded certificates for these qualifications.
