What will the apprentice be doing?

Main Weekly duties will be:

Answering all incoming calls & diverting accordingly

Responding to enquiries, online & via e-mail

Support to members of the office team

Using Microsoft Packages, in particular Word & Excel

Use of our own CRM Software

Meeting & greeting visitors

Updating of social media sites

Liaising with our marketing executive on digital processes & marketing

Dealing with requests for information

Photocopying and filing

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

Business Administration Level 3 Apprenticeship - Off the job training will take place at the employers location 1 day per week.

Some of the modules you will complete are:

Analysing & presenting business data,

Chairing and leading meetings,

Implementing change in the workplace,

Managing budgets, projects, and business risks.

There is also a multitude of optional modules, including training on the principles of digital marketing & research, the principles of stakeholder relationships. 

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

You can progress further by completing the Business Administration Level 4 Apprenticeship.

Alternatively, you could seek employment in a variety roles ranging from administration team leader or office supervisor to personal assistant or administration officer.

Things to consider

The Business administrator role within ITEC will require you to have excellent communication skills both verbal and written. you will also need to telephone confidence as you will be taking and making call to our students and suppliers.
