This is a hospitality role in a busy city centre cafe. We are a young fast and friendly team looking for someone to join us. This apprenticeship will be a stepping stone for the right candidate to go on to a full time role once completed the apprenticeship and there will be progression for someone to go on to supervisor role level 3.

What will the apprentice be doing?

An average day at Giovannis is fast paced and fun. We serve many customers each day fresh quality home made food. 

You will learn to use a coffee machine and become fully barista trained. 

You will also be making fresh fruit smoothies and freshly squeezed orange juice.

We do lots of outside catering so you will learn how to prepare for those and set up with in offices around manchester city centre.

We are a 5 star hygine rating so therefore we will teach you how we stay at this level.


What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

The qualification at the end will be Level 2 hospitality with the progression of a full time job and to take part in a Level 3 supervision and management course.

Training will all be onsite with tutor guidance.

Working hours can vary from 7am until 4pm. You will be working closely along side the owner who will help guide you with the support of a friendly team.

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

After the apprenticeship is completed, a full time job will be offered. We would also like to progress the right candidate to progress to supervisor role with a level 3.
