What will the apprentice be doing?

  • Working as part of a team
  • Keeping development records and observations
  • Engage in children’s play appropriately and sensitively to help them extend their vocabulary, practice and develop skills and consolidate learning
  • To respect confidentiality at all times
  • To foster and maintain close and supportive relationships with parents/carers
  • To report accidents and incidents according to the centre's policies and procedures
  • Ensure equal opportunities policies and procedures are adhered to at all times
  • Ensure health and safety regulations are maintained at all times
