You'll provide a high standard of physical, emotional, social, and intellectual care for children in your care, giving support to wider team within the setting. You will provide an enabling environment in which all individual children can play, develop, and learn. You'll build strong partnerships with parents to enable children’s needs to be met.

What will the apprentice be doing?
Deliver the EYFS ensuring the individual needs and interest of children in the setting are met
Keep records of your key children’s development and learning journeys
Support all staff and engage in a good staff team
Advise manager/deputy of any concerns, e.g., over children, parents, the safety of the environment,
Be involved in out of working hours activities, e.g., training, monthly staff meetings, summer fayres
Prepare snack meals, cleansing of equipment, etc.
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
Early Years Practitioner Level 2, delivered via monthly Tutor led workshops (a combination of face to face and live, virtual 3 – 2 sessions) self-led study and blending learning and development activities, all, within the workplace.
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
As with any apprenticeship opportunity – if you prove yourself to be a valuable member of the team there is a strong chance of a permanent post within the nursery.
