We are looking to expand our team further and are recruiting for an apprentice to join our workshop team. On the job training and qualifications are provided. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a genuine passion for plant machinery to begin their career as a service technician and join an already established and forward-thinking team

Your salary will be dependent on your age. Under 18s will be on £11,000 p.a. (39 hours per week) and over 18s will be on £12,000 p.a. (42.5 hours per week).

What will the apprentice be doing?
- Working with modern plant machinery (excavators, skid steers, backhoe loaders, wheel loaders, dozers, telehandlers, dumpers etc)
Working with auto-electrics, engines, transmissions, hydraulics
Pre-Delivery Inspections on New Machinery
Plant Machinery Servicing & Diagnostics
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
Training will be provided in the workplace through Myerscough College where you will work towards a Level 3 Landbased Service Engineer Standard Apprenticeship.
College attendance will be on a block release basis.
End point Assessment:
The end point assessment will contain 3 components:
- Online Knowledge Test
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
