What will the apprentice be doing?

Duties include:
- Reporting any unsafe condition that may affect the health and safety of all.
- Reporting any unsafe item of work equipment.
- Loading and unloading of materials on lorries and flatbeds
- Assisting Scaffolders when erecting, dismantling scaffolds 
- Ensure PPE & Tools are used in the correct manner and ensuring it remains free from abuse/misuse.
- Working in accordance with the appropriate method statement.
- Report all accidents, incidents and/or near misses in a timely manner.

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

The successful candidate will work towards a Scaffolder Level 2 qualification with SIMIAN.  This involves 10 weeks of in-centre learning and an end point assessment. 

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

Scaffolding can provide you with a well-paid rewarding career with lifelong friends. Progression includes, Advanced Scaffolder or Scaffold Supervisor.

The working environment may be at height, dirty, outdoors in all weathers. It can be physically demanding at times.
