We are on the lookout for new apprentices after launching an exclusive metal recycling apprenticeship scheme, creating new career opportunities within the vehicle recycling industry. Starting September 2022 with the business offering successful apprentices a full time role with us working at one of our sites in Doncaster, Winsford or Gloucester.

What will the apprentice be doing?
A mixture of on/off-the-job learning in every operational department to understand the full lifecycle of the business. Tasks include carefully preparing recovered vehicles, dismantling, checking quality, sales/inventory, preparing parts for dispatch/delivery and more.
Practical training includes assessing over 800 cars a week in the ‘Landing Pad’ where you will learn to identify salvageable parts for reuse, depollution process, engine prepping techniques and how to safely dismantle vehicles.

Whilst earning while you learn, apprentices will also gain employability skills such as:
Health and safety awareness
Manual handling
Plant equipment training

This role can develop into full paid fully qualified dismantling roles, Warehouse Operatives, Parts Sales & Service all sorts of career paths. These can then progress into Team Leader roles for the right people with support to develop into a Team Leader for anyone showing this potential.
