Due to continued expansion the UK's leading ex-military recruitment consultancy, Forces Recruitment Services (FRS) is seeking to appoint a Recruitment Resourcer. Based in Witchford, Cambridgeshire FRS is at the cutting edge of ex-military recruitment and is keen to hear from individuals looking to establish a unique career within the recruitment industry. 

Working within a fast-paced environment, the role of the recruitment Resourcer will be varied. However, key duties will include;

  • Posting new vacancy details to external job boards and social media platforms
  • Evaluating and shortlisting applicants and ensuring the vacancy and applicant data is updated accordingly within the FRS database
  • Answering incoming calls
  • Carry out phone-based pre-screening interviews of shortlisted candidates, adding interveiw notes to candidate records and precis to application forms 
  • Responding to emails
  • Scanning, printing and photocopying documents
  • Submitting shortlisted candidates to Senior Consultants for review, prior to submission to clients
  • Updating the company database
  • Any other general administrative duties as and when required

  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail with an ability to multitask.
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbally.
  • Excellent IT skills with a knowledge of social media platforms.

Qualifications required

  • If you do not have an a-c grade in GCSE Maths and English (or equivalent to), we will support you to achieve functional skills in these subjects during your programme.

Future prospects

Permanent position available on the completion of the programme for the successful apprentice.

Things to consider

Apprenticeship National Minimum Wage (ANMW): From 1st April 2017 this rises to £3.50 per hour. This applies to 16-18 year old apprentices and those aged 19 and over in the first year of their Apprenticeship. For all other apprentices the National Minimum wage appropriate to their age applies. The Minimum Wage for Apprentices applies to time spent on the job plus time spent training. For more information visit:
