Day to day duties will include:

  • Answering phone calls
  • Dealing with email and post
  • Supporting customers to book holidays
  • Taking holiday deposit payments

  • Ability to organise and prioritise workload
  • Previous experience of carrying out administrative tasks, i.e. work experience, or through membership of a social group or any other membership is preferred
  • Knowledge of using office equipment, for example photocopying

  • A hard working team player with good communication skills
  • This role is customer facing, so candidates need to be confident dealing with the public and answering questions

Qualifications required

Minimum A-D GCSE (or equivalent) in Maths and English.

Things to consider

As part of this apprenticeship, you will be required to travel to both the employer location (Winson Green) and also attend college (Sutton Coldfield). Please ensure that you have researched your travel arrangements and are happy with the time it will take and distance required to travel, before you apply for this vacancy. From 1st October 2016 The National Minimum Wage (NMW) rate for apprentices is £3.40 per hour. From April 2017 this rises to £3.50 per hour. This applies to 16-18 year old apprentices and those aged 19 and over in the first year of their Apprenticeship. For all other apprentices the National Minimum wage appropriate to their age applies. The Minimum Wage for Apprentices applies to time spent on the job plus time spent training.
