  • Assists in the day-to-day operation of the Kitchen department.
  • Helps to Maximises all Revenue Opportunities to ensure all revenue is captured.
  • Condition and cleanliness of facilities and equipment ensuring deep cleaning is up to date
  • To ensure tight controls on food stock and equipment
  • To ensure that company property is maintained and treated with care
  • Ensure that everything is prepared for service
  • Attends and participates in other meetings as required.
  • Assists to Determine the minimum and maximum stock of all food, material and equipment.
  • Ensure you are aware of and comply fully with Fire, Life, Health and Safety as well as Health and Hygiene requirements.
  • Full awareness of menu items and presentation.
  • Complete all Food Hygiene Training.
  • Be aware of any Food Allergens in all dishes.
  • Reduces stock wastage by correct rotation of food.
  • Is responsible for the cleanliness of the section you are working in.
  • Performs related duties and special projects as assigned.

Upon successful completing of the apprenticeship the hotel will look to offer a full time role within the kitchen Brigade.

Things to consider

Successful candidate must be able to provide required food hygiene certification. Will be required to work weekends as this is the busiest time in the kitchen
