  • Provide administrative support to the main office, but working mainly within the HR department.
  • Politely and professionally answer phone calls and direct them effectively taking messages where necessary and ensure these are passed to the relevant member of staff
  • Provide support on customer services if appropriate with the recording of customer queries. 
  • Assist with administration such as annual leave requests and health & safety monthly returns.
  • support to all sites if necessary
  • Producing letters and arranging stationary orders
  • Consistently work to support the head office function

National Minimum Wage From 1st October 2016 The National Minimum Wage (NMW) rate for apprentices is £3.40 per hour. From April 2017 this rises to £3.50 per hour. This applies to 16-18 year old apprentices and those aged 19 and over in the first year of their Apprenticeship. For all other apprentices the National Minimum wage appropriate to their age applies. The Minimum Wage for Apprentices applies to time spent on the job plus time spent training. The wage for Apprentices applies to both time spent on the job plus time spent in training. INTERVIEW We will be interviewing candidates who meet the criteria as they apply and will recruit after a successful interview which may be before the closing date. Reality Check You will be responsible for your travel expenses to and from your place of work. Therefore, you must have the means to get to your place of work on a daily basis whilst awaiting for your first wages to be paid. Travel Information Nearest train station is Strood station. Walking distance from train station to bus stop (stop E) is 0.3 miles, takes 6 minutes. Bus number 140 (3 stops), takes 1 minute. Bus stop is outside destination.

On the job training with the employer whilst working towards the Apprenticeship Framework - consisting of the Intermediate NVQ Level, Personal Learning and Thinking Skills (PLTS) and the Employment Rights and Responsibilities (ERR) Workbook.


Regular work based assessments/observations carried out by Kent Training & Apprenticeships Tutor Assessor, to determine competency and meet with Awarding Body standards.
