You’ll be working with experts who are eager to grow the team and are excited for a new member to join. The skills that you will develop will not only hugely benefit your web development career but are useful for any digital industry!

What you will be doing:

  • You’ll learn to design web pages
  • You’ll be installing and adapting website templates
  • You’ll be taught to create and edit images using industry standard tools such as Photoshop
  • You’ll be using Google products such as Webmaster Tools and Google Analytics
  • You’ll be supported to upload content to the site
  • You’ll be performing some web admin duties (particularly with ASP.Net)
  • You’ll be supported in creating, designing and editing images and graphics for websites

Things to consider

Am I available to start an apprenticeship within the next two months? Do I want to work in the Web Development industry and have I researched into it? From the 1st October 2016 The National Minimum Wage (NMW) rate for apprentices is £3.40 per hour. From April 2017 this rises to £3.50 per hour. This applies to 16-18 year old apprentices and those aged 19 and over in the first year of their Apprenticeship. For all other apprentices the National Minimum Wage appropriate to their age applies. The Minimum Wage for Apprentices applies to time spent on the job plus time spent training.
