180 Degrees Personal Training is the leading and most established body transformation specialist in Poole, Bournemouth and across Dorset. Due to our continuing success at our gym in Sandbanks, we are now thrilled to be opening a fantastic sister gym in Holdenhurst Road, Bournemouth.


A total focus on our customers is at the heart of our business so that we can ensure a smooth running of the business and a steadily growing membership. We would really like to find an enthusiastic administration apprentice to get stuck in to helping us establish our new gym and be interested in getting to know the many types of fitness, health and nutritional advice services we offer.


There will be lots of training, support and encouragement as well as a great variety of things to do. We’d like you to be generally interested in fitness, conversational and friendly, and willing to help promote memberships as part of a commission structure.


Helping with everything from meeting and greeting customers to promoting our services, from maintaining our database to helping with marketing campaigns, this could be the chance you’ve been waiting for!

Qualifications required

Must have at least four GCSE levels at grade C and above or equivalent, preferably two of which must be in English Language and Maths.

Future prospects

Progression on to Level 3 and prospect of permanent position for the right candidate.

Things to consider

You will receive full training on all the duties that you will be asked to carry out, usually on a one-to-one basis and a ‘mentor’ is likely to be allocated to help you through the learning process. You will also be invited and expected to attend all other mandatory training workshops carried out within the business. Must be able to travel to Lansdowne once a week for college. From 1st April 2017 The National Minimum Wage (NMW) rate for apprentices is £3.50 per hour. This applies to 16-18 year old apprentices and those aged over 19 in the first year of their Apprenticeship. For all other apprentices the National Minimum wage appropriate to their age applies. The Minimum Wage for Apprentices applies to time spent on the job plus time spent training. Working Week: Monday to Friday 9am-5pm Applicants are advised to apply early as we reserve the right to close a vacancy prior to the closing date if a high number of applicants have been received. You need to be able to travel to work and College at Lansdowne, Bournemouth. You should be happy to work in an open plan gym environment. Please note: Bournemouth & Poole College is managing the recruitment for this vacancy. Subject to meeting the entry criteria you will be invited in for an interview at The College in Bournemouth. You need to attend this session to be accepted to the course, before your details will be passed on to the employer. This is a vital part of the recruitment process.

Training provider

BTEC Level 2 Diploma in Business Administration, Functional Skills in Maths, English and IT Level 1, and Employers Rights and Responsibilities. One day a week at College for six months of the twelve month course.

You will receive in-house training on the job.
