Reporting to the Director:

  • Assist the team with hard landscaping services
  • Paving, fencing, artificial turf
  • Ground preparation and planting
  • Turf management
  • Clearing sites and re-landscaping
  • Using horticultural machinery including: rotary and cylinder lawnmowers, petrol hedge trimmers, rotavators and ride on tractors,
  • Maintaining tools and machines
  • Pruning a range of shrubs and trees
  • Maintaining a high standard of health and safety
  • Working as part of a team
  • Expert mentoring will be provided
  • You will attend Sheffield College - Hillsborough for 1 day per week.

�The National Minimum Wage for Apprentices is �3.40 per hour (raising to �3.50 per hour 1st April 2017). This is the legal minimum pay per hour applying to 16-18 year old apprentices and those aged 19 and over in the first year of their apprenticeship. For apprentices 19 or over who have completed their first year and are continuing their apprenticeship, the National Minimum wage appropriate to their age applies.�
