A normal day would include:

  • Support a range of teachers in preparing for lessons and helping create a happy and safe environment for all children
  • Work with small groups of children or on a one-to-one basis to enhance learning
  • Be a role model for children and be a positive influence through your own behaviour 
  • Supervise children at lunch and playtimes
  • Communicating with teaching staff effectively
  • Support the Play Leader in providing after school care for children. Planning and resourcing activities
  • Accompany teaching staff and children on trips and other out-of-school activities
  • Please note that there is no public transport to Knayton
