City Electrical Factors Ltd is a private limited company established in 1951. We are the United Kingdom’s leading Electrical Wholesale Network with almost twice as many distribution outlets as our nearest competitor. The job holder will work in a small team within this electrical wholesale branch.

 After full training given your responsibilities will include: 

  • Managing stock in and out (to external clients) 
  • Picking and packing
  • Recycling and completing the paperwork associated with a busy Warehouse
  • Keeping Warehouse tidy, clean and safe
  • Serving customers on the Trade Counter
  • Taking payments/ processing orders
  • Answering the telephone to customers
  • Liaising with other departments

As an Apprentice EDA Apprenticeships Plus will employ the successful candidate on behalf of this branch.

Completing a Trade Supplier Apprenticeship Level 2, consisting of the following elements:

  • Competence / Knowledge based qualification in Trade Supplier at Level 2
  • Functional Skills in maths and English (if required)
  • End Point assessment - final test, observation and discussion

The vocational and academic training aspects are separated and delivered by separate teams. The vocational training and assessment are conducted on site according to the employers wishes. Notice of dates is agreed well in advance of a site visit. Training and assessment are conducted both on and off the job, according to the needs of the course and the learner. Every effort is made to ensure the best result is achieved by the learner.
