An exciting opportunity for the apprentices to be trained working with vehicles whilst using the latest diagnostic equipment to provide them with the relevant skills to react to the ever changing technological developments within the car industry.

Day to day tasks will always vary, but will normally include:

  • Servicing
  • Vehicle maintenance
  • Observing and assisting technicians

Rosewood Garages Ltd is a family run garage based in Slough.

​We have fifty years experience working within the trade and undertake work on almost every make and model of car and light commercial vehicles as well.

The services that we offer include diagnostic inspection of the electronic and computer systems of modern cars & light commercial.

We carry out Class 4, 5, 7 MOT inspections in our onsite MOT bay and perform work on commercial & fleet cars.

Our staff are dedicated to customer service and we can perform collection and delivery in the local area by appointment.

Not only will apprentices be working and be trained within the garage, they will also attend a Skillnet approved college to work towards achieving their Skillnet Motors Technical Certificate at Level 3. A Skills Coach will visit at least every 28 days as part of a close support network to ensure that apprentices are both enjoying and succeeding in their course.

An Apprentice’s training includes:

  • Industry recognised standard qualification - level 3
  • Functional Skills in English and maths (if required)
  • Before the Standard is met, all apprentices must hold a certificate that meets the EU’s 2014 F-gas regulation
