Responsibilities will include learning all areas of sign making which include:

Metal shop:

  • To learn CNC press brake folding, developing mig/tig welding, soldering ana letter making

Perspex shop:

  • To form and fabricate plastic sheet materials

Assembly shop:

  • To learn all aspects of sign making and electrical assembly

Vinyl shop:

  • To learn hand and computerised cutting, preparation, and application

Things to consider

  • You will be standing for majority of your day
  • You may have to work outside in all weathers and at heights

Apprentices are paid for their normal working hours and training that's part of their apprenticeship (usually one day per week).
