An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our team at The Bristol & Clifton Golf Club as part of the catering team. As a Commis Chef you will support the Head Chef in ensuring the kitchen runs efficiently and effectively. Your job will include, but is not limited to the following:

 

  • Preparation and maintaining of your section
  • Complete all food preparation for service
  • Run your section effectively during food production and service
  • Follow all Health and food safety guidelines
  • Kitchen Porter Duties
  • Provide First class service to our customers

Full time position at the club, there will be pay reviews/incentives at regular stages of your apprenticeship

Things to consider

The job will mainly be daytime hours, these shifts will be spread over 7 days and you will be required to work evenings as the business requires. You will need access to transport (Moped, Bike, Car) A bus route does not stop outside, but is a short 10 min walk. Shifts to be confirmed. Apprenticeship National Minimum Wage (ANMW): From 1st October 2016 The National Minimum Wage (NMW) rate for apprentices is £3.40 per hour. From April 2017 this rises to £3.50 per hour. This applies to 16-18 year old apprentices and those aged 19 and over in the first year of their Apprenticeship. For all other apprentices the National Minimum wage appropriate to their age applies.
