Job Title: Business Administration Level 3 Apprentice

Hours: 9am-5.15pm Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday

We require an apprentice within our accounts and admin department. This role incorporates a wide variety of duties some of which are time critical. Full training is, of course, given. This role has potential to carry on into a full time permanent post for the right candidate.


  • Processing supplier invoices
  • Processing supplier returns
  • Invoicing customers
  • Chasing deliveries
  • Addressing queries with warehouse
  • Liaising with suppliers to gather information and assist in resolving queries.
  • Other general accounting and admin duties

Requirements and prospects

Desired skills

Maths and English basics are required – need to be capable of writing professional emails and understanding match for checking figures.

Full training given but needs to use a complex computer system to ability to work with computers is essential.

Personal qualities

Needs to be capable of attention to detail and ability to organise time and tasks.

  • Maths and English to Level 2 required, if not already achieved Ongoing assessment by the employer and provider – for example meetings with apprentice, employer and learning provider, observations of workplace, gathering evidence
  • Knowledge, Skills and Behaviour in relation to: customer service principles and practices, planning, regulation, responsibility and IT, business principles, customer communication and health and safety.
  • Undertake a self-assessment in the last month of their apprenticeship to enable them to see whether they are confident that they have taken on board all aspects of the occupation. This self-assessment must be submitted to the independent end point assessor as a source of evidence to prepare for independent End Point Assessment which will include multiple choice assessment; showcase portfolio of learning and interview; presentation of a project
