As part of this apprenticeship you will -
- use Microsoft Office and bespoke software
- be raising and progressing purchase orders
- contact suppliers
- deal with quotations
- work with stock control and goods in/goods out,
- analyse key performance indicators/data analysis to help make smart business decisions and more.
Requirements and prospects
- Good ICT skills
- Able to manage own workload and prioritise.
- Ability to switch between projects when required and meet deadlines.
Excellent communication skills as you will be discussing orders with customers and the manufacturing team. Good telephone manner essential.
You will be committed and motivated to complete college and NVQ assignments. Enthusiasm, ability to see projects through to completion. Ambitious, self-motivated & inquisitive. Able for follow detailed instructions & work accurately. Conscientious & diligent.
5 x GCSE at Level 4/5 (Grade C) and above including maths and English. Science and ICT an advantage.
To become a fully trained and qualified Administrator in a permanent position with Nasmyth IEC Ltd.

Like all apprenticeships, this requires a long-term commitment - in addition to the development of skills and knowledge, there will be assignments and portfolio entries to complete.
